Nel semestre primaverile 2025, gli studenti hanno lavorato ad un ampliamento del Cortile Aquilone, progettando e realizzando un orto didattico per la vicina scuola elementare Canavée. Si è trattato di costruire gli spazi e le strutture dove le bambine e i bambini della scuola avrebbero coltivato piante e verdure negli anni seguenti: le aiuole dell’orto, una serra, un capanno per gli attrezzi, uno spazio per la didattica all’aperto, una cisterna dell’acqua, una compostiera, oltre alle pavimentazioni, le recinzioni ecc… Il progetto è stato realizzato esclusivamente con materiali di recupero ed è stato condotto in dialogo con le insegnanti, la direzione, le bambine e i bambini della scuola./
In the spring semester 2025, the students worked on an extension of the Cortile Aquilone, designing and realising an educational vegetable garden for the nearby Canavée primary school. It concerned the construction of the spaces and structures where the boys and girls from the school will grow their vegetables in the next years: the beds for the plants, a greenhouse, a garden shed, an outdoor teaching space, a water tank, a composter, as well as the paving, fencing and so on. The project was made exclusively with salvaged materials and was run in conversation with the teachers, staff and children from the school.
